New Page! 10 Commandments of Eating Out with [very] Young Kids

We received some awesome advice when we became first-time parents. “Take them with you, everywhere. Even if it’s messy or embarrassing, the more you let your kids join you in your life, the more they will get used to being out and about.” Well, we took this advice and have made lots of fun memories eating out at restaurants. And not just Chuck E Cheese and McDonalds, but all types of places: new to us, fancy-ish, outside,…we have found that as odious at it can seem to take small people out to restaurants, it usually isn’t that bad. We laugh. We try new places and foods. Most importantly, we have fun. We certainly have had our share of uncomfortable moments and big messes, but overall, we love taking our kids out to eat.

And after 3+ years of parenting, we have discovered about 10 guidelines that have kept our dining-out experiences smooth and relaxed. We also included lots of fun pictures of the kids eating because really, what is cuter than a picture of a kid enjoying their food? So check out the new page and let us know what you think!
