Paciugo Gelato and Caffe

With a rich, smooth taste, all natural flavors and 70% less fat than ice cream, gelato is God’s gift to women.  It’s perfect for a sweet treat and a little walk on a summer evening.  We have been going to Paciugo Gelato and Caffe for so long that the owner knows the names of all our kids.

…for GELATO!

Taste: From deep chocolates to light fruit sorbets, Paciugo keeps us coming for more.  The natural flavors and 70% less fat provide a worry-free treat that we are happy to introduce to our children.

Presentation: Their frozen case is filled with bright colors and tasteful garnishes.  Gelato is not only dessert for the taste buds, but for the eyes as well.

Originality: Gelato is a big deal in it’s native country of Italy, but there are very few caffes in the Kansas City area.  We are glad to have found a great place to get our fix!

Service: Customer service is top-notch.  Very friendly folks work here and in the five years we have been regular customers, we have never had a bad experience.  They know our names, the names of our kids and are always helpful with samples or getting us a little glass of water to rinse all that sweetness down.

Appearance: Although Paciugo is a little small, it is big enough to serve our purposes.  It’s not a terribly beautiful place but comfy and clean.

Value: A small cup of gelato (up to 3 flavors) is about $4.  I have never gotten a size bigger than this one because it is just the right amount of sweet for me.

Restrooms:  Always clean, and painted in one of my favorite shades of orange.  5 stars!
